Fulton CASA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit child advocacy organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children who are in the foster care system in Fulton County.

Mi CASA events are informal gatherings hosted by active CASA volunteers or other friends of CASA to bring awareness to the issues of child abuse and neglect and to provide information on volunteering opportunities with Fulton CASA.

This Mi CASA was hosted by CASA Volunteer Alexis Doyle, Educator and Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS) Coordinator at Atlanta International School.  Ms. Doyle has served as a CASA volunteer since 2013. In that time she has provided zealous advocacy for a sibling group in the custody of Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services.  She has exhibited extreme commitment and passion to MiCASA Bojanic2advocating for her CASA kids.  Her work has not gone unrewarded. Due in large part to her advocacy efforts and sheer tenacity, Ms. Doyle recently stood witness as one of her CASA kids was adopted on National Adoption Day, November 19, 2016.  Finding a safe and permanent forever home for an innocent child is just one great reward of serving as a CASA volunteer.  Ms. Doyle graciously offered to host the Mi CASA event to share the work of CASA and her story with her friends and colleagues.

Fulton CASA, Inc. is always looking for more superheroes to champion the rights of children.  If you are interested in learning more, visit www.fultoncountycasa.org.

Special thanks to Bhojanic Restaurant Buckhead, Archna Becker, and Erica Bowers for their support of Fulton CASA and the children of this community!
