Objectivity, tenacity, and good communication skills are some of the key characteristics of great CASA volunteers. We’ll teach you the rest during our comprehensive volunteer training program that empowers individuals to become effective advocates for children in need. Our training covers topics such as:

  • The roles and responsibilities of the CASA
  • Family dynamics of abuse and neglect
  • Child Protection Law
  • Interacting with children and families, case managers and other professionals in the case
  • Report Writing

Prior to training you will need to submit an application and attend an Advocate interview.
